In addition to sponsoring and exhibiting, we will also be presenting our research conducted in collaboration with University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

Our poster presentation, Implemented Digital Preoperative Pathways for Elective Surgery: Feasibility, Usability & Fiscal Impact, evaluates the feasibility, usability, and economic benefits of adopting a digital preoperative assessment while considering its potential for significantly reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional preoperative processes. 

This study was co-authored by Dr. Frank Davis, Specialised Foundation Doctor; Mr. Joideep Phadnis and Professor Benedict Rogers, Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeons, all from the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, alongside Definition Health’s Dr. Sandeep Chauhan, CEO and Co-Founder; and Jan Gosiewski, PhD, Head of Data Science.
